"CUNY start and ASAP"
Today I listened to a lecture on CUNY Start hour given by Madhumita Chandra. CUNY Start is a program that helps students in academic reading, writing and math. This program is requiring just for students who have not passed the CUNY placement exams. Allow students to save financial Aid for credits courses, and offers academic advisement. This program cost seventy-five dollars per semester and it already includes the books that you are going to be using, which means that you are not going to spend money buying books. Being CUNY Start give you the opportunity to retake the placement exams two times. I don’t think that this is a good program for me because only native speakers can get accept in CUNY Start. For more information about this program, student can go to the Y building room 09. I also listened to another lecture on ASAP given by Najwa Argandwall this program give a lot of benefits to college students. For example, enhanced career Development, tuition waivers, and give free monthly Metro Cards. I think this would be a perfect program for me because it can help to develop my communication. For more information about this program, student can go to the CUNY website and see if they are eligible for his program.
